Liva Eco Launch: A Step Toward Responsible And Sustainable Fashion

Aditya Birla Group’s Liva launched a new eco-friendly variant of their fluid fabric called “Liva Eco.” The launch, which took place at Mumbai’s ITC Grand Maratha, on 19 January 2019, was attended by many fashionistas.

The showstopper Kangana Ranaut, who is also Liva’s brand ambassador, walked the ramp with utmost grace and elegance. She looked like a Greek Goddess in an olive-green flowy gown that screamed “fluid fashion.”

The Liva Eco collection showcased featured glamorous designs from three leading Indian designers–Wendell Rodricks, Anju Modi, and Gaurav Jai Gupta. The fabric is made using raw materials from certified, sustainable forests. The manufacturing processes entail the lowest water consumption as well as green house gas emissions, making this an excellent eco-friendly variant. Starting March ’19, Liva Eco garments will be available in over 300 ‘W’ Stores.

Joining the #ResponsibleFashionWithLivaEco campaign were some top Indian fashion bloggers. Let’s look at what they had to say about the launch show.

“Fashion being one of the highest polluted industries currently, it is so important for all of us to make smart switches towards eco-fashion as consumers & buyers,” shares Youtuber and blogger Shifa Merchant.

Style blogger Vinitha Shetty talks about the high quality and versatility of the Liva fabric. In fact, she doesn’t shy away from sharing that this royal blue coordinate ensemble she adorned for the launch is 3 years’ old and still a super versatile piece. Now, that’s a big hint at moving toward a conscious wardrobe!

Moreover, with an increasing number of fashion designers becoming eco-conscious, responsible fashion is easy to adopt. And, Liva Eco is definitely a step forward in that direction!
